Chi’Lantro BBQ has been featured in Food & Wine Magazine’s Staff Favorite May 2012 issue, Food Network, Cooking Channel, and on the cover of Southwest Airlines’ Spirit Magazine. Locally, Chi’Lantro was voted Best Street Food, honorable mention in Best Korean Food, and honorable mention in Best Other Asian Food in Austin Chronicle. Currently Chi’lantro operates 2 mobile food trucks and a trailer at The Picnic at Barton Springs. In January 2015, Chi’lantro opened it’s first brick-and-mortar location on South Lamar Blvd and opened their second permanent outpost shortly after on Burnet Rd in May 2015.
